External evaluation of the interim Vice President of Strășeni District Court finalized with proposal for promotion

2025-09-18

The Judicial Vetting Commission announces the completion of the external integrity evaluation procedure of Judge Dorina Croitor, interim Vice President of the Strășeni District Court.

Today, the Commission submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) its evaluation report, accompanied by the proposal for promotion. During the process, the judge participated in a public hearing, where she confirmed the accuracy of the information provided throughout the evaluation. The Commission found no suspicions regarding her financial or ethical integrity.

According to the legal procedure, the SCM will examine the Commission’s conclusions in a public hearing and decide whether to accept or reject the report. At this stage, the report is not public, based on the interpretation of the Constitutional Court. The only information available is the evaluation result, published on the Commission’s website in the “Subjects” section. The reports become public within three days after the expiration of the appeal period or following a final ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice.

If the report is accepted, Judge Dorina Croitor will be the first among court leaders – presidents, vice presidents, or persons who have served as interim in these functions for at least one year in the last five years – to successfully pass the external evaluation.
