Judge Valeriu Curicheru passes Commission evaluation. Report to be reviewed by the SCM

Panel G of the Judicial Vetting Commission has completed the evaluation of Judge Valeriu Curicheru of the Chișinău Court and concluded that he meets the financial and ethical integrity criteria established by the law governing external evaluation.

Accordingly, the Panel recommends that the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) find that Judge Valeriu Curicheru has passed the evaluation.

The evaluation report has been communicated to the evaluated judge and submitted to the SCM for review. The Council will examine the report and decide whether to accept or reject it.

At this stage, the report is not public. The evaluation result is available on the Commission’s website, under the “Subjects of evaluation” section, while the report will be published at a later stage in accordance with the law.

Judge Valeriu Curicheru was evaluated in connection with his work on judicial panels that examined corruption and corruption-related cases.
