Between 26 and 30 March 2026, the Judicial Vetting Commission will hold a new round of public hearings within the external evaluation process, as follows:

Thursday, 26 March 2026

• 16:00 – Ana Cucerescu, candidate for the position of judge at the Supreme Court of Justice

Friday, 27 March 2026

• 14:30 – Petru Triboi, Acting President of the Ungheni Court

• 15:30 – Natalia Mămăligă, candidate for the position of judge at the Central Court of Appeal

• 14:00 – Angela Catană, former Acting Vice-President of the Chișinău Court (Buiucani office)

The hearing of the candidate for the position of judge at the Supreme Court of Justice will be conducted in the full composition of the Commission, while the other hearings will take place in evaluation panels.

In the cases concerning judges Petru Triboi and Natalia Mămăligă, for whom the Superior Council of Magistracy ordered re-evaluation, the hearings will be held by the same panels that previously examined their evaluation files.

Regarding Judge Corneliu Guzun, we recall that he was previously heard in a public hearing held on 2 February 2026. However, due to the emergence of new circumstances, it has become necessary to continue the hearing in an additional session.
