11 judges invited to clarify integrity-related issues during public hearings

2025-10-30

Between 3 – 5 November 2025, the Judicial Vetting Commission will hold a new series of public hearings as part of the external evaluation process of judges.

During this session, 11 judges have been invited to participate in hearings to clarify, where necessary, certain findings identified during the evaluation or reevaluation process as potential integrity concerns. The invitees include candidates for positions at the Supreme Court of Justice and the Central Court of Appeal, as well as judges undergoing reevaluation and interim presidents or vice presidents of first-instance courts.

During the hearing, each judge is given the opportunity to provide explanations and respond to questions from the Commission members regarding the preliminary findings and any potential ambiguities related to financial integrity or ethical conduct.
