Two candidates for the position of Supreme Court Judge invited to hearings on 26 February

Candidates for the position of judge at the Supreme Court of Justice, Oxana Parfeni and Elena Croitor, have been invited to attend a hearing before the Judicial Vetting Commission on Thursday, 26 February.

Elena Croitor’s hearing will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by Oxana Parfeni’s at 11:30 a.m. The hearings are part of the external integrity evaluation process conducted pursuant to Law No. 65/2023. The hearings will be held with the participation of the entire Commission.

Oxana Parfeni currently serves as a judge at the Chișinău Court and is temporarily seconded to the Supreme Court of Justice. Elena Croitor is a university professor and lawyer.

Interested persons may attend the hearings organized by the Vetting Commission, subject to prior notification of the Secretariat at press@vettingmd.eu. The hearings will take place at the Commission’s headquarters, located at 75 A. Mateevici Street, Chișinău.

Filming and photography inside the hearing room are not permitted. Video recordings of the hearings will be published on the Commission’s YouTube channel within no more than three days from the date of the hearing - Comisia de Evaluare a Judecătorilor - YouTube
