Judicial Vetting Commission to hold new hearings on October 20 and 22

On October 20 and 22, the Judicial Vetting Commission will hold new public hearings as part of the external evaluation of judges serving on specialized anti-corruption panels, as follows:

Tuesday, October 20

10:00 – Tatiana BIVOL, judge, Chișinău Court

Thursday, October 22

10:00 – Liliana CUȘCĂ, judge, Chișinău Court

10:30 – Veaceslav CERNALEV, judge, Chișinău Court

The hearings will be conducted before evaluation panels E, F and G, each composed of three Commission members, including national and international members.

During the hearings, the judges undergoing evaluation will answer questions from panel members regarding the preliminary findings related to ethical and financial integrity and, where relevant, any matters requiring further clarification.

Those wishing to attend the hearings are kindly asked to confirm their participation in advance by email at press@vettingmd.eu. Members of the public may attend as observers.
