Commission completes the evaluation of Judge Olga Bejenari

Panel G of the Judicial Vetting Commission has completed the evaluation of Judge Olga Bejenari of the Chișinău Court and submitted its evaluation report to the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM). The report includes a proposal that the judge fail the external evaluation.

During the evaluation process, the Panel found that the financial integrity criteria established by the applicable legal framework had not been met. The report sets out the relevant facts examined, the reasoning underlying the Panel’s findings, and the proposal that the judge fail the external evaluation.

The SCM will review the report and decide whether to accept or reject the Commission’s proposal.

In accordance with the applicable procedure, the evaluation report was also communicated to the subject of the evaluation.

At this stage of the proceedings, the evaluation report is not public. It will be published after the deadline for appeal has expired or, if the report is challenged, after a final decision is issued by the Supreme Court of Justice.
