Judge Corneliu Guzun is to be heard by the Vetting Commission

The Judicial Vetting Commission announces the public hearing of Judge Corneliu Guzun, who is undergoing evaluation in his capacity as former Vice President of the Chișinău Court, Rîșcani Office.

The hearing is scheduled for Monday, 2 February, starting at 10:00 AM, at the Commission’s headquarters in Chișinău, 75 A. Mateevici Street, and will be conducted by Panel D, to which the evaluation has been assigned, composed of members Marcel van de Wetering, Iurie Gațcan, and Lilian Enciu.

During the hearing, the judge will have the opportunity to clarify any integrity-related concerns identified by the Commission. The Commission notifies the subjects in advance of the hearing date and the specific integrity issues to be discussed. They are provided access to the evaluation file and relevant materials to prepare thoroughly. Judge Corneliu Guzun has confirmed his willingness to participate in the hearing.
