Reevaluation | Hearing of judge Petru Triboi, acting president of the Ungheni Court

Judge Petru Triboi, Acting President of the Ungheni District Court, was re-heard by the Judicial Vetting Commission as part of a reevaluation procedure ordered by the Superior Council of Magistracy.

As in the initial assessment, his file was reviewed by Panel D of the Commission. During the hearing conducted within the reevaluation procedure, the judge was given the opportunity to present his observations and provide additional clarifications regarding the analysis performed. He confirmed the accuracy and validity of the information submitted.

The hearing was chaired by the President of Panel D, Marcel van de Wetering.

Following the hearing, the Panel will approve a report containing the relevant facts, the reasoning, and a recommendation regarding the promotion or non-promotion of the evaluation of the subject. The evaluation outcome will be published, and the report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy.

📜The external extraordinary evaluation is carried out based on the following principles:

a) independence of the Evaluation Commission;

b) fairness of the evaluation procedure;

c) publicity of the acts issued in the evaluation process;

d) exceptional nature of the evaluation.
