Judge Olga Cojocaru of the Central Court of Appeal was heard again by the Judicial Vetting Commission as part of a reevaluation procedure ordered by the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM).
The hearing, held before the full Commission, focused exclusively on the issues the SCM identified as problematic in its decision. Discussions with the Commission members addressed matters of financial integrity, namely possible discrepancies between income and expenditures for the years 2015, 2021, and 2022. Ethical integrity issues were also raised, related to two cases adjudicated by the judge.
Following the hearing, the Commission will adopt a report containing the relevant facts, reasoning, and a proposal on whether the subject passes or fails the evaluation. The result of the evaluation will be made public, and the report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy.
