Hearing of judge Petru Triboi, acting president of the Ungheni Court

Judge Petru Triboi, interim president of the Ungheni Court, was heard by the Judicial Vetting Commission as part of the external evaluation process conducted under Law no. 252/2023 on the evaluation of judges and prosecutors.

His case was examined by Panel D of the Commission, composed of members Scott Bales, Lilian Enciu, and Iurie Gațcan. During the hearing, issues concerning potential discrepancies between income and assets were analyzed, as well as the circumstances surrounding loans granted to the judge’s household by two individuals, and the purchase of a vehicle and an apartment by his daughter.

Following the hearing, the Panel will approve a report containing the relevant facts, the reasoning, and a recommendation regarding the promotion or non-promotion of the evaluation of the subject. The evaluation outcome will be published, and the report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy.
