Judge Elisaveta Buzu of the Chișinău Court was heard by Panel F of the Judicial Vetting Commission as part of the external evaluation procedure provided for under Law No. 252/2023.
The evaluation is being conducted in connection with her work on the specialized panels for examining corruption cases.
During the hearing, Panel members requested clarifications regarding donations made for the benefit of the judge’s partner, the purchase of a vehicle, and other matters relevant to the assessment of financial integrity.
The income of the judge’s partner was also examined. He was heard separately in a closed session, including in connection with the assessment of a possible unjustified increase in wealth relating to 2021 and the 2023–2025 period.
Following the hearing, the Evaluation Panel will prepare a report setting out the relevant facts, arguments, and its recommendation on whether the judge passes or fails the evaluation. The report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy, and the outcome of the evaluation will be made public.

a) independence of the Evaluation Commission;
b) fairness of the evaluation procedure;
c) publicity of the acts issued during the evaluation process;
d) exceptional nature of the evaluation.
