Additional hearing of Judge Corneliu Guzun, former Vice President of the Chișinău Court

Judge Corneliu Guzun, former Vice President of the Chișinău Court (Rîșcani office), was previously heard on 2 February 2026. Following the emergence of new circumstances, the Evaluation Panel D decided to continue the hearing in an additional session.

The discussions focused on a possible unjustified wealth, including clarifications regarding donations received from family members, as well as issues of ethical integrity, such as a potential conflict of interest and breaches of ethical standards.

After the hearing, the Panel will prepare a report that will include the relevant facts, arguments, and a recommendation on whether the judge should pass or fail the evaluation process.

The outcome of the evaluation will be made public, and the report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy.
