Judge Alina Gorceac of the Chișinău Court was heard by Panel F of the Judicial Vetting Commission as part of the external evaluation procedure provided for under Law No. 252/2023, in connection with her work on the specialized panels for examining corruption cases.
During the first part of the hearing, the discussions focused on discrepancies between bank transfers declared to the National Integrity Authority (ANI) and those identified by the Commission based on banking information obtained during the evaluation.
In the closed session, matters related to ethical integrity were also examined, including a possible conflict of interest and compliance with the legal framework governing the declaration of assets and personal interests.
Following the hearing, the Evaluation Panel will prepare a report setting out the relevant facts, arguments, and its recommendation on whether the judge passes or fails the evaluation. The report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy, and the outcome of the evaluation will be made public.

a) independence of the Evaluation Commission;
b) fairness of the evaluation procedure;
c) publicity of the acts issued during the evaluation process;
d) exceptional nature of the evaluation.
