Hearing of Viorelia Grigoraș, judge serving on specialized anti-corruption panels

Judge Viorelia Grigoraș of the Chișinău Court was heard by Panel F of the Judicial Vetting Commission.

The hearing took place as part of the external evaluation procedure provided for by Law No. 252/2023, in connection with her activity on the specialized panels examining corruption cases.

Following the verification process, the Panel did not identify any integrity concerns requiring further clarification during the hearing. Judge Grigoraș confirmed that the information provided throughout the evaluation process remains accurate, truthful, and up to date.

The Evaluation Panel will now prepare a report setting out the relevant facts, the arguments considered, and its recommendation on whether the judge passes or fails the evaluation. The report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy, and the outcome of the evaluation will be made public.

📜 The extraordinary external evaluation is conducted based on the following principles:

a) independence of the Evaluation Commission;

b) fairness of the evaluation procedure;

c) publicity of the acts issued during the evaluation process;

d) exceptional nature of the evaluation.
