Hearing of judge Sofia Ghidirim (Aramă) from the Cimișlia Court

Judge Sofia Ghidirim (Aramă) of the Cimișlia Court was heard by the Judicial Vetting Commission as part of the external evaluation process under Law no. 252/2023 on the evaluation of judges and prosecutors. The judge is subject to evaluation in light of the leadership role she has held over the past five years.

The hearing of judge Ghidirim (Aramă) took place before Panel C of the Commission and focused on potential conflicts of interest and the proper application of procedural rules in case adjudication. Part of the hearing was held in a closed session at the judge’s request.

Following the hearing, the Panel will approve a report containing the relevant facts, the reasoning, and a recommendation regarding the promotion or non-promotion of the evaluation of the subject. The evaluation outcome will be published, and the report will be submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy.
